Graduation Trip- Bangkok(Siam Niramit and Route 66)

The main agenda of our first night in Bangkok is to watch the Siam Niramit~
My friend who watched the show before highly recommended us to watch it during our trip to Bangkok even though the entrance ticket is very expensive, which is 1500THB per person. However, thanks to AirAsia Go we able to get the ticket at RM119/person and we got a fantabulous seat which is in d middle of d hall.

Fyi, Siam Niramit is a world-class performance of Thailand's arts and cultural heritage. This must-see spectacular is performed on the gigantic stage now listed in the Guinness World Records, featuring over 150 performers with as many as 500 costumes. (Information from the Siam Niramit Official Website). Well, I would say the show is excellent which makes my mouth in O shape throughout the 90 minutes show. The stage is so huge and it can accommodate a big ship and elephant, then suddenly there will be a river appear on the stage, then they able to change the background in 1 seconds, well, i m exaggerating, perhaps 3 seconds, which is FAST!! And their background and props are not small stuffs like we see in normal show, the props are so big. How big? Hmm, just realli BIG~

The show is set in Thailand Cultural Center. We took taxi to there and it costs us 80THB/ride. You can also go to Thailand Cultural Center MRT station and there will be free shuttle bus “teleport” you to the venue.

Well, I should stop acting like a information center and should let the pixxies to tell the story.

Before going out, we doll up ourselves in the room since we are going out to club after the show~

There is a Cultural Village in the venue site.2011_0624bangkok0037_副本2011_0624bangkok0053_副本Lets took a group picture before the show.
All the girls dress nice and we looked gorgeous, isn’t it?
2011_0624bangkok0051_副本 This elephant involved in the show too.
Idk why I so scared, hehe~

While the rest was busy taking pictures at the compound of the hall.
The 3 monkeys slipped into the cultural village.

2011_0624bangkok0060_副本 There was an old uncle dayung sampan and 3 of us jumped into the sampan.
2011_0624bangkok0061_副本 2011_0624bangkok0062_副本The 3 noisy and active monkeys become silent once we were on the sampan.
We so scare that we will terbalik at anytime so we dare not to move even 1 inches.
We smile but stiffly.

We are not allowed to bring in our camera so I couldn’t show you guys how great the performance was. Since it is more to a musical show that describe the history and culture of Thailand instead of theatre, so it might not be worthy for some of the people that paid 1500THB for it. However, I love Thailand and I wish to know more their culture so I enjoy the show.

2011_0624bangkok0067_副本Took a picture with the actor and actress after the show.2011_0624bangkok0043_副本 Overall, say YEAH to Siam Niramit.

After the show, we went to 7-11 which is just opposite the Thailand Cultural Center to have our dinner.

At first, we planned to go Sirocco Sky Bar at Lebua Hotel after the show and go clubbing on the 4th night. Then I found out that since RCA is just few minutes driving distance from the place we were, so we changed our itinerary(RCA is the epicentre of Bangkok's clubbing scene). We decided to rock our nights at Route 66.

Route 66 divided into 3 zones: The Classic, The Band and The Hip Hop zone. We went for the Hip Hop zone since it look more happening.

2011_0624bangkok0087_副本2011_0624bangkok0089_副本No entrance fee is needed.
We only paid for the drink!!
This big glass of Apple Maniac(i think is a fruit cocktail) cost 1200THB, and we can shared it!
Imagine, we can rock the dance floor or go clubbing at RM15 per person, mana cari kat Msia??!!
