Graduation Trip- Bangkok(MyHotel and Soi Petchburi)

After 4 years study in UM, finally, I graduate. Even though i not graduating with flying colors, but who cares, I still a graduates and is employed by MOH...lalalala~

Most of my friends make Taiwan as the destination of their graduation trip, but we had chosen Bangkok as our destination~ Why?
Hmm…because we love to say Sawadeeka instead of Ni Hao. (hehe, lame, i m crapping again~)

So, thanks to Air Asia, I fly again~

I feel that I snap a nice pix n edited it well.

Once we reached the airport, we took the Airport Link(45THB) to the Phayathai station, which is just a 5 minutes walk from our hotel.
We checked in to MyHotel Pratunam at Soi Petchburi 15 (Click HERE for their official website)
We booked 4 cubic rooms(without window) which costs 800THB per room and per night. With complimentary breakfast and free tuk tuk service which bring us to main road. But for the last day of our stay in Bangkok, there was not enuff cubic rooms to stay, so I n MJ stayed in the standard room, which costs 950THB(lil bit discount from hotel where d actual price is 999THB)
We like the hotel because the rooms are clean and the tuk tuk drivers as well as the receptionists are so so friendly.

The cubic room looked small, but is comfy enuff with the King Size single bed and clean environment.

and the differences between the cubic room and standard room is the existence of window

After that, we walked around our hotel. There is a lot of shop houses and vendors selling foods, clothes, accessories etc etc on the narrow valleys.
Even though MyHotel is located within soi(which means valley) but the Pratunam area is so so so happening and is not scary n dirty like those valleys in Malaysia.
I will recommend my friends to stay in Pratunam area or hotels around Soi Petchburi as it is near to shopping malls(10minutes walking distance), BTS station and what important is u will never get starved because the foods r surrounding you.2011_0624bangkok0012_副本

Valley with shop lots, cars and tuk tuk.
7-11 is a must visit place in Thailand.2011_0624bangkok0018_副本We found the best tomyam at soi Petchburi. 2011_0624bangkok0013_副本I think pork is always d foods that Chinese from Malaysia will hunt for whenever we go to Thailand.
Pork satay(10THB per stick). Super jeng and juicy.2011_0624bangkok0446_副本2011_0624bangkok0443_副本 In Bangkok, we can see lotsa vendors selling drinks by the roadside.
And I would say, pay 20THB for those vendors and you can get a cup of tea or coffee which is comparable with those from cafe.
Ice Lemon Tea made by this auntie is super awesome. Sour and sweet taste of ice lemon tea mix perfectly.

2011_0624bangkok0444_副本This is the kuih that we all love. Is made of Pandan.
I cant find any suitable words to describe how delicious are they.
10THB 3 pieces. Sibeh ho chak!

I would say, the road side foods are the best foods.
They are delicious and cheap.
Can’t stop eating and can’t stop licking fingers.

That’s all for now.
*Eww, i miss those foods~*
