Krabi Jungle Tour

Arrrgh, I cant blief I used 5 months to complete my Krabi trip posts. So, lag man~ Anyway, better late than never I hope. (Recall, I not even blog completely for my 2012 Korea and HCM trips noh~) *smack forehead*
So, at first we planned to go Island Hopping for 2 consecutive days, but well, I admit I old jor. So, we changed the plan to 1 day island hopping, 1 day jungle tour. We picked the less adventurous kind of Jungle Tour which inclusive of Tiger Temple, Hot Spring, and Emerald pool.

Tiger Temple
There are numerous tiger temples in Thailand, and one of them is in Krabi. No real tiger/s found in this temple, but it is well known for the tiger paw prints in the cave, tall Buddha and GuanYin statues and the strenuous flight of stairs to reach the summit.
We picked Tiger Temple over ATV or elephant ride, because we want to hike to the top of this temple and enjoy the Krabi view at the peak. Ends up, plan failed as we only allowed to spend 45minutes here. Sien.

Message to all the travellers who wish to reach the peak: “Just rent a car and enjoy your hiking without time constraint.”

1237 steps to the peak begin here
Endless staircases that lead us to the peak
We only manage to reach 491th steps due to time constraint.
We walked down after a small rest.
Steep stairs.

Other pictures taken in the temple:
Temple of Head Master LuongPor Jamnean

 Pagoda in built

If you ask: will I revisit this temple? The answer is YES! Because I want to challenge myself by climbing through these 1237 steps to reach the peak and enjoy the magnificent view of Krabi.

Hot Spring
We went to this Hot Spring after visiting Tiger Temple. This is actually a small area of mini waterfall where we can soak ourselves in the mini hot spring pools. I am the only one who pamper my body in this mineral rich pool. We were given 45 minutes to enjoy at here.

Emerald Pool&Blue Pool
We took our lunch outside the restaurant of this wonderful place. Foods provided are simple but nice. 4 of us requested for refill of the dishes. *nom nom nom*

After taken our lunch, we march into Blue Pool and Emerald Pool. You will see the Emerald Pool first, then when you walk further for about 15 minutes along the boardwalk, you will reach the quiet and mysterious Blue Pool. We can swim in the Emerald Pool but not Blue Pool.

Welcome to Emerald Pool
