On the Day 2 of Phuket trip, we visited Phang Nga Bay National Park which we had signed up the package day before.
Basically, the itinerary of trip was:
Departed from hotel ->Suwankuha Temple(Monkey Cave) ->Koh Pan Yee for lunch->James Bond Island-> Tam Talu Islan ->Back to hotel
The minibus came to our hotel at 10am(very punctual) then we off to Phang Nga Province which is about 2 hours(yeah, 120 minutes~can watch a movie liao lo) from Patong Beach. According to the tour guide, Phang Nga province is not located on Phuket Island but on the mainland of Thailand.
Our first station was Suwankuha Temple which also known as Monkey Cave since there is a lots of monkey~ (Why Batu Cave is Batu Cave even though we can find lotsa monkey there??) Monkey in those tourist area are not friendly, they will sit around the tourist who is holding banana and snatch it wildly.
The elegant lady in red dress bought banana and 1,2,3,4,5 monkey started to sit around herThanks to the bananasssssss this monkey is in ape size Monkey mama taking care of monkey zaizai~
The temple is located within the cave. There is a reclining Buddha inside the temple. I missed the chance to visit the Reclining Buddha temple in Bangkok but I able to visit Reclining Buddha in Phuket.
My sis, me and my mum~
Buddha statues in the temple.
After spending 30 minutes at the temple, we off to Phang Nga Bay National Park which is 10 minutes from the temple.
Long tail boat which found in Phang Nga Bay National ParkSitting on the long tail boat with the idk lake or sea water splashing on me sometime~ After around 30 minutes ride, we reached Koh Pan Yee which is the most famous Muslim fisherman village in the national park. Even though it is a fisherman village, but I think Koh PanYee is now doing the tourists’ business~Because it now serve as the lunch stop when the tourists come over to visit the national park.
Lunch at Koh Pan Yee. 6 of us sharing all these.
We requested to add more tomyam soup, but the waitresses just said: OK and never came back!
~Sigh~
The stalls that sell souvenirs
Some scenery shots I took in Koh Pan Yee.
Looks like a fisherman village~
After taking our lunch at Koh Pan Yee, we then went to James Bond Island which become famous after appearing in the 1974 James Bond movie “The Man with the Golden Gun”. I would say James Bond Island is the attraction that I can’t wait to go before my Phuket Trip. But once I was there, I felt nothing special lo.. I just like other tourists snap snap snap the famous limestone rock and that’s all. Lame huh~?
The famous limestone rock which is standing alone at the center of sea for the past centuries until James Bond came on year 1974.Limestone rock is no longer a lonely rock when more and more tourists coming in
And took a bunch of picture with it.
See, it was floating on our palms.
Another attraction on the island.
The flat limestone cliff tumbled sideways and leaned on a similar rock in the center of the island.
After spending half an hour at James Bond Island, we departed to Tam Talu Island which is a nice place to do sea canoeing. I would say, sea canoeing is the best activity of the day. (No reason, I just like it)
Enjoyed the sea canoeing session.
(Sorry for polluting your vision with my elephant size legs)
Inside of one of the caves Some of the cave entrances(!!?? idk wat tat call, sowie)are narrow so we need to lie back in order to protect our heads. SPOTTED!
angmoh that brought ipad along to snap pictures and perhaps to Facebook/Twitter.SPOTTED!
The stone that I circle look like a horse’ head.
That’s all for today.
Next post will be the Khai Island, Monkey Beach and Phi Phi Island tour.
Stay tuned!!!
