Go! Mitty.: Istanbul: 托卡比皇宫Topkapi Palace，地下水宫殿Basilica Cistern

我的土耳其之旅涵盖了4个主要城市：伊斯坦堡，费特耶，帕姆卡雷和卡帕多奇亚。

我将伊斯坦堡，这个唯一横跨欧亚两洲的城市安排在行程的最后几天，原因很简单，我想在旅程的最后几天好好的看看这个神秘的城市。

I visited 4 main cities: Istanbul, Fethiye, Pammukale, and Cappadocia during my 12 days Turkey trip. And, Istanbul was my last station, I ends my journey at this mysterious city so that I could get enough time to explore the only city in this world that lies between Asia and Europe side.

今天就以托卡比皇宫和地下宫殿这两个景点拉开伊斯坦堡游记的序幕吧！

Lets kick start my Turkey trip with my visit to Topkapi Palace and Basilica Cistern.

托卡比皇宫Topkapi Palace

托卡比皇宫也称之为旧皇宫（新皇宫是多玛巴切皇宫），这皇宫于1465至1853年都是Ottoman帝国苏丹的皇宫，如今这里成为了伊斯坦堡的主要观光胜地。其实，比起整个皇宫庭院，我更喜欢展示于各个宝物室内的宝物！宝物室内是不允许拍照的，所以就要大家亲自到现场去观看那些宝贝了。

Topkapi, serves as the palace of the Ottoman Dynasty between year 1465 to 1853(Dolmabahce Palace become the new palace since then), currently it is one of the main tourist spots in Istanbul. Go!Mitty visited Palace not to explore the palace, but to enjoy the exhibits in the hall. Pictures are not allowed in the exhibition halls, so visit the palace on your own.

这里最出名的宝物，无非是那颗86卡拉（对，你没有看错，是86卡拉！）的钻石！

The most valuable exhibit in Topkapi Palace is the 86 carats pear shaped Spoonmaker's Diamond.

不过，由于我们在中学时期的历史课，有修读伊斯兰教的历史，我反而看到先知Nabi Muhammad的胡须和麦加回教堂中的石造圣堂的木门而感到兴奋。

另外，我们看到摩西的拐杖（这是基督教的先知）时又惊讶了一下下。

The diamond did amazed me, but what makes me WOW is when I saw the beards of Nabi Muhammad, the wooden door of Kaabah in Mecca, and also the Moses Staff. Till then, I appreciate the knowledge I gained from the Islamic history I learned during secondary school. I do read bible, so Moses is my favourite prophet.

对了，托卡比皇宫的入门票包括在土耳其博物院卡内。

Turkey Museum Pass do covers the entrance fee to Topkapi Palace.

自助游的旅客可以租借导览机，价格如上，需以护照为抵押。

You can rent a audio guide at the booth next to entrance.
Price was as shown(due November 2015).
You need to leave your passport there in order to rent the audio guide.

总占地面积9800平方尺的地下水宫殿建于公元6世纪拜占庭时期。

Basilica Cistern was constructed in the 6th century during the reign of Emperor Justinianus, covering an area of 9800m2.

温馨提醒：排队购买参观地下水宫殿的队伍会很长，所以会有当地人向你们offer可以省略排队时间的导游，价格比较高就对了。如果你们想避开冗长的排队时间，那建议你们在午餐时间前来参观。

Gentle reminder: You can visit the cistern during lunch hour in order to avoid the long queue. There are locals that offer themselves (at a higher rate)as your tour guide, so that you could skip the queue.
